It worked!! It was really fun too, and we took turns in the role of the husky dog!
A Spring spent working in the beautiful Swiss Alps at 'Our Chalet', one of the four Girl Guide and Girl Scout world centres.

Midnight Toboggans
Last night there was fresh snowfall, so Stef and I decided to use the opportunity to tick off another part of our staff challenges! At midnight, we got the toboggans out and set off on the steep walk up to the top of Holiebeweg (the street which Our Chalet is on). It's a long road, and it took us about 20 minutes to reach the top. Excited to begin our descent, we hopped onto our toboganns and pushed off.......but we didn't budge! The snow was so fresh and fluffy that the toboganns didn't slide through it, they just stuck. Undeterred, Stef and I formulated a new plan. One of us would sit on the toboggan, while the other pulled it along the road! "Mush!"
It worked!! It was really fun too, and we took turns in the role of the husky dog!
